THE PARACHUTE FACTORY SHOW!
Unless you have been living in a cave the past couple of weeks you have probably hear of this art exhibition.
To sum up really quick whats going down this Saturday there is a 2 floor old parachute factory that closed down after ww2. now after all these years the place has been opened to some of SD's best artists and they have basically been given free reign to paint each wall or room that was designated to them.Theres no paintings being hung or artwork for sale, they have turned the entire place into one big ass work of art that you can walk through and hang out in. sneak peak shots of the walls have been popping up on facebook and it looks like its going to be sick. As far as i know this is the first time in san diego something like this has been done and i for one am not gonna miss it. Some of my friends who s artwork im a huge fan of (SURGE,NEKO,DIEKUTS,HONKEYKONG,PEEPS,CHANDU, and others) have been given walls in this building to paint and have been working on them for weeks and i have no doubt the place is going to look amazing. Also there will be live music and the show is sponsored by Karl Strauss so you know there will be plenty of drinks. It is an all ages event so everyone can come and there is a $5 cover.
